Refund Policy
Subscriptions are not open yet. Nothing can be bought today. This page is published in advance so that it can be read before you subscribe. It takes effect when subscriptions open.
This policy takes effect on the day subscriptions open.
The short version
If you are not happy with a paid 9to95 subscription, ask within 30 days of a charge and you get that charge back in full. You do not need to give a reason.
What is covered
- Your first payment for an annual or monthly subscription.
- Any renewal payment, if you ask within 30 days of that renewal charge.
- Always: a renewal charged at a higher price than your last one, if you ask within 30 days of that charge.
- The whole charge, including any sales tax collected on it.
9to95 has no free plan and no trial period. If the paid plan is not for you, ask within 30 days of the charge and you get your money back in full. The demo, when it opens, takes no payment, so there is nothing to refund for it.
How to ask
Use either route:
- Email us at [email protected] from the email address on your account and say you want a refund. This is the fastest route.
- Ask Paddle directly. Paddle is our reseller and the merchant of record for your purchase. Use the link in your Paddle receipt, or go to https://paddle.net, find your purchase and choose "Request refund".
What happens next
- Refunds are issued by Paddle to the payment method you used. We do not hold your card details and cannot refund any other way.
- We approve refund requests within 3 business days. After that, how long the money takes to appear depends on Paddle and your bank or card issuer.
- A refund ends the subscription it relates to. Your access to the Service ends when the refund is issued, and you will not be charged again unless you subscribe again.
- If you subscribe again later, you pay the price then on offer.
Cancelling is different from a refund
Cancelling stops future charges and leaves you with access until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, access ends. You can cancel at any time in Paddle's customer portal, reached from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing [email protected]. The direct portal link will be listed here when subscriptions open. If you also want your most recent charge back, ask for a refund within 30 days of that charge.
After 30 days
After 30 days from a charge we do not normally give refunds, except:
- if we remove a paid feature or shut down the Service, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for;
- if you cancel because we made a material change to our Terms, we refund the unused part of the period you paid for;
- if you were charged in error, tell us and we will put it right;
- where the law of your state or country gives you a right to a refund, you have that right.
Abuse
This policy is meant to let you get your money back in full if the paid plan is not for you. We may decline repeated refund requests from the same person, or requests connected with fraud.
Payment disputes
If you think a charge is wrong, please email us or Paddle before disputing it with your bank. We can usually fix it faster.
